┆ COOLHAVEN ┆
Coolhaven is a band based on the principle of diabetics. Their music is inspired by the disturbance of balance between centrifugal and centripetal energies. The first and last thing Coolhaven has is some kind of concept or idea about how the noises they make should sound. They think the idea of making ‘good' music is kind of obsolete.

┆ NINA HITZ & JASNA VELIČKOVIĆ ┆
Jasna Veličković is a composer, performer and musical instrument inventor from Belgrade, now based in Amsterdam. Her performance setup consists of permanent magnets and coils, a realization of her ongoing artistic research where she aims to create tools that facilitate playing on instruments or objects using the transformative acoustic possibilities of the electromagnetic field. Nina Hitz, born in Switzerland, currently living in The Netherlands, is a questing spirit and skilled cellist. She finished her graduate studies in Baroque cello at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In addition to baroque music, Hitz' activities also span experimental music, improvisation and theatrical performances.

┆ HUGO COSTA & PHILIPP ERNSTING ┆
This sax & drums duo is one of the most dynamic in the current realm of improvisation music. Both firmly embedded in the Rotterdam scene while also active across the borders, Philipp and Hugo are seasoned musicians who are as comfortable in their traditional roles with their respective instruments as they are with them being skewed or reversed.
The saxophone produces percussive sounds while the drumming provides atypical textures or even melodic approaches. Their album "The Art Of Crashing" highlights their individual and collective strengths, combining challenging material that is aware of certain traditions but steers clear of clear-cut patterns.
