RAAR (Rotterdam Art And Radio) teams up with Vrooom to present these three magical composers.

Mojave Desert resident Derek Monypeny describes his performances as expansions on the desert continuum, the psychedelic sirocco swirl of desert-based stringed instruments. He will perform with the shahi baaja plus a few effects pedals.

Mรกri Mรกkรณ is a sound artist and composer who creates her own instruments to produce unique and unconventional sounds in her compositions. Her work has been described as avant-garde electronic and post-club. As part of the Vroom concert series, Mรกri will debut a new performance featuring her new stone sculpture, in addition to zither and processed voice.

Bergur Anderson is an Icelandic visual artist, composer and sound-maker based in Rotterdam — an electric troubadour playing with songs, poetry, stories and world-making.

This event is made possible with kind support of Popunie Rotterdam.
